Dream Ride began in the USA in 2001 to raise awareness and funds for people with special and intellectual needs.
The inaugural 2018 dream ride took place in Glenelg over the weekend. Motoring enthusiasts from all over Adelaide convened at Wigley Reserve on Sunday 29th April including Managing Director Scott Begbie.
Participants with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities were paired with an exotic, sports, prestigious or luxury car. The Dream Ride journeyed through to Henley Beach via the CBD before returning to Wigley Reserve. The participants were then be honoured with a red carpet affair and medal presentation.
