Seventeen SA business leaders awarded Industry Leaders Fund Grants in 2016
Scott Begbie, MD awarded $15,000 grant to participate in an Advanced Management & Leadership Program at Said Business School
The SA Industry Leaders Fund (ILF) has awarded grants totalling $209,000 to seventeen of the state’s aspiring business leaders to help them realise their professional potential. “The 2016 Scholars are a calibre of business leaders who will propel South Australia forward, stimulate economic growth for the State and continue to grow prosperous businesses and employment opportunities,” says ILF CEO, Geoff Vogt. “This year the ILF applicants showed outstanding quality and potential with a higher proportion in the entrepreneurial category,” he says. “They are more ambitious in terms of the type of course they wished to study.”
The assessment involves a three-stage process including an interview with a panel of the Board. The announcement was made at the Awards ceremony on September 26th where the unique qualities of each successful scholar was highlighted on the night as well as the ILF brochure.
Scott is a high achiever who understands how to drive advanced manufacturing and celebrate failure as a way to seed and foster innovation amongst his employees. The Said Advanced Management and Leadership Program will enable him to adapt strategy, and foster growth in a fast moving world.
