The new position is part of APC Technology’s future proofing strategies.

We are delighted to announce that Neil Whitburn has recently been promoted to Innovative & Process Improvement Lead. The role is a key position responsible for the identification & implementation of technologies and processes that will add significant value to the business and customer services. The new position will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change and improvement.

Neil has over ten years of experience at APC Technology working in multiple roles from the manufacturing floor, to managing the prototyping facilities. He brings a wealth of experience in problem solving and has demonstrated a drive, enthusiasm and mindset for challenging the status quo.

Managing Director Scott Begbie commented on the importance of the role. “Creating and implementing strategies aimed at future proofing a business is a common challenge that all organisations face. APC Technology has created this new position in line with our long-term plans to encourage growth and success.”

Neil will collaborate with senior team leaders and their departments to identify areas that could benefit from new technologies or processes to improve outcomes. His primary focus will be researching, presenting and assisting with the implantation of change for long term business sustainment and growth.

“The opportunity to be an integral part of APC Technology’s future proofing plans is a challenge I am looking forward to,” stated Neil Whitburn.

“This role will enable me to discover technologies and processes that APC previously may not have thought of, did not know were available or had the resources to evaluate the business outcomes through implementation. For me it’s a dream job, it’s about looking outside of the norm and adopting change for a positive outcome.”
