APC Technology to Showcase Ruggedised Defence Systems and Innovative Deployable Solutions at MilCIS 2025

APC Technology will exhibit at MilCIS 2025 from 18–20 November 2025 at the National Convention Centre in Canberra, demonstrating its latest ruggedised computing, deployable communications, and hybrid power systems.
The company will be located at Stand B32.

MilCIS — the Military Communication and Information Systems Conference — is Australia’s premier forum for Defence, industry, and academia to connect on digital capability, secure communications, and operational technologies. The event provides APC Technology with a platform to showcase sovereign, mission-ready solutions that support Defence’s evolving needs across land, maritime, and deployed environments.

“MilCIS is a key opportunity to demonstrate how Australian industry is delivering advanced, rugged, and deployable systems that strengthen Defence capability,” said Craig Williams, Managing Director of APC Technology. “We’re proud to be contributing to the next generation of resilient communications and energy systems built right here in Australia.”

Showcasing Advanced Ruggedised and Deployable Solutions

At MilCIS 2025, APC Technology will highlight:

  • Rugged computing and integrated electronics — engineered for high-reliability performance in extreme environments.

  • Deployable communication modules, developed through collaboration with partners such as BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service), enabling resilient, field-deployable information and media systems to support operations globally.

  • Intelligent power and energy systems, designed for hybrid and renewable energy integration, supporting Defence’s energy transition and emissions-reduction goals.

  • Configurable electronic enclosures and testing services, ensuring full compliance with MIL-STD and environmental standards.

“Our focus this year is on deployability, resilience, and sustainability,” said Andrew Perry, Strategic Growth Lead – Defence & Space. “From rugged computing architectures to advanced power and communication systems, we’re showcasing how APC Technology enables capability at the tactical edge.”

Powering Defence Capability Sustainably

As Defence pursues its 40% carbon reduction target by 2040, APC Technology continues to invest in the development of green power generation and hybrid energy solutions to reduce operational footprints and improve energy security. These initiatives reflect APC’s commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and long-term support for Australia’s sovereign industrial base.

“Our systems are designed to perform in the harshest conditions while helping Defence achieve energy efficiency and sustainability,” added Perry. “It’s about building smarter, stronger, and greener capability.”
